INTRODUCTION
Welcome to CAMPER CHRONICLES, a first-of-its-kind camper trailer company dedicated to helping you experience camping and staying in natural habitats at lesser-known destinations. With a vision to offer unique and immersive camping and travel experiences, CAMPER CHRONICLES has launched CAMPLER to create unforgettable memories.
The below-mentioned Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our CAMPLER rental services.
By booking a CAMPLER trip with us, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms.
BOOKING FEE
To confirm your reservation, a booking fee is required. This secures your CAMPLER for the selected dates. Please note that, in case of cancellation, the booking fee will be refundable only as per the slabs mentioned in the Cancellation Policy.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, UPI, bank transfers, and other online payment options.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Your booking will only be confirmed after receiving 100% payment at least 3 days prior to the journey date.
CAMPLER PRICING
• One Day – Weekdays (for up to 4 adults & 2 children below 12 years of age, or 6 adults): Rs. 30,000/- per day.
• One Day – Weekends (for up to 4 adults & 2 children below 12 years of age, or 6 adults): Rs. 35,000/- per day.
• Long Trip (Minimum 3 days) – (for up to 4 adults & 2 children below 12 years of age, or 6 adults): Rs. 25,000/- per day.
EXTRA CHARGES
Any expenses not covered in the package, such as additional amenities, campsite food, lodging, special permits, service charges, activity charges, etc., must be paid directly by the customer.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of pick-up. This covers any potential damages or extra charges. The amount will be refunded after the CAMPLER is returned in good condition, minus any applicable charges.
TRAVEL REGIONS
Currently, our caravan rental services are available only in Rajasthan. Travel is not permitted in mountainous terrain, sand dunes, or water bodies.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
• All bookings can be modified up to 3 working days prior to the onboarding date.
• 70% of the total booking amount will be refunded if cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the onboarding date, after adjusting GST and service fees.
• 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded if cancellation is made at least 5 days prior to the onboarding date, after adjusting GST and service fees.
• 30% of the total booking amount will be refunded if cancellation is made at least 3 days prior to the onboarding date, after adjusting GST and service fees.
• No refund will be applicable if cancelled within 3 days of the onboarding date.
• CAMPER CHRONICLES shall not be liable or responsible for the non-refund of any third-party booking cancellations. Refunds for third-party bookings will be governed by the respective property policies.
• Refunds will be initiated within 2 working days from the date of cancellation.
• Refunds will be processed through bank transfer only.
CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
Modification Requests:
If you wish to make any changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. All modification requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Date Changes:
Requests to change booking dates must be made at least 14 days before the original check-in date. Date changes within 14 days of the check-in date may not be accommodated and may attract cancellation charges.
Extension of Usage:
Requests to extend the trip must be made at least 2 days before the original checkout date and are subject to availability and additional charges.
Cancellations & Refunds:
If changes to your booking result in cancellation, our standard cancellation policy will apply.
Confirmation of Changes:
All changes must be confirmed in writing by our customer service team. Verbal agreements will not be considered binding unless confirmed in writing.
Special Requests:
We will try our best to accommodate special requests related to booking changes; however, we cannot guarantee fulfillment of all requests.
Third-Party Bookings:
CAMPER CHRONICLES is not responsible for refunds related to third-party bookings such as campsites. Such refunds will be governed by the respective property policies.
PUBLICATION OF CUSTOMERS
By using our services, you agree that we may share your reviews, testimonials, photos, or videos from your trip on our website, social media channels, brochures, and other promotional materials. We will not share personal information such as your full name or contact details without your consent.
If you do not wish to have your content published, please inform us in writing at the time of booking or during your trip.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER
• We do not guarantee that your use of our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• We do not warrant that the results obtained from using our services will be accurate or reliable.
• We reserve the right to remove or cancel the service at any time without prior notice.
• Your use of our services is entirely at your own risk. All services and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• CAMPER CHRONICLES, including its directors, employees, affiliates, contractors, suppliers, and service providers, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
• This includes any errors, omissions, data loss, revenue loss, or damage incurred through the use of our services or products.
• Notwithstanding anything stated above, the maximum liability of the company for any deficiency in service shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer.
INSURANCE
Guests travelling with us are covered by basic vehicle insurance. In case of emergencies requiring evacuation or hospitalization, guests are responsible for arranging adequate medical and travel insurance to cover hospital expenses and associated costs.
FORCE MAJEURE & NATURAL CALAMITIES
CAMPER CHRONICLES shall not be held responsible for disruptions caused due to natural calamities such as heavy rains, landslides, floods, earthquakes, or any other act of God. Customers are expected to cooperate and comply with company policies during such situations.
CLAIM FOR DAMAGE
Customers must inspect the CAMPLER before signing the handover documents. Any existing defects or damages must be reported immediately. Failure to report defects shall imply that the CAMPLER was received in good condition, and customers shall be liable for replacement and labour costs for any damage caused during the trip.
TOURIST SITE CLOSURE
CAMPER CHRONICLES shall not be liable for the closure of tourist destinations by government authorities, local bodies, or unions. No claims or refunds will be entertained in such situations.
CAMPSITE EXPERIENCE
While we have hospitality tie-ups with selected campsites, CAMPER CHRONICLES is not responsible for the quality of service, hygiene, or food provided by third-party partners.
ROAD ACCESSIBILITY & TERRAIN RESTRICTIONS
Our CAMPLER vehicles are not designed for off-roading or non-motorable terrain. Customers travelling to high-altitude or rugged areas must arrange local 4×4 transport as per local union regulations.
ENTRY RESTRICTIONS
Certain cities, towns, or tourist sites may restrict CAMPLER entry. In such cases, customers must arrange local transport for sightseeing. The assigned driver reserves the right to refuse or discontinue the journey if road conditions are unsafe.
VEHICLE INSPECTION
Customers are advised to inspect the vehicle at the time of delivery and report any pre-existing damages. Any damages identified after handover shall be the customer’s responsibility.
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE
Customers are expected to ensure the basic upkeep of the CAMPLER during the rental period and avoid any actions that may damage the vehicle.
AUTHORISED DRIVERS ONLY
Only drivers authorized by CAMPER CHRONICLES are permitted to operate the vehicle. Unauthorized driving is strictly prohibited.
USE OF VEHICLES
Customers must ensure that the vehicle is not used for:
• Illegal activities
• Racing or competitions
• Off-roading
• Any activities violating company policies or local/state laws
NIGHT HALT POLICY
Night travel is strictly prohibited. The CAMPLER must be securely parked at a designated safe location after 8:00 PM, as per company guidelines.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
Customers are obligated to follow all applicable local laws during the trip. CAMPER CHRONICLES shall not be responsible for any violations, fines, or penalties incurred.
CHANGE IN PRICING
All prices displayed on our website/app are current and subject to change without prior notice. However, confirmed bookings shall remain unaffected.
EXTRA KILOMETRE RUNNING CHARGES
Each booking includes 200 kilometres of complimentary running per rental day. Rentals will be calculated based on the number of rental days or actual kilometres run, whichever is higher.
Any usage beyond the included kilometre limit will attract additional charges as per the prevailing per-kilometre rate of the selected caravan model. These charges must be settled before final check-out.
EXCLUSIONS
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, special permits, local passes, bonfire charges, activity charges at campsites, room stays at campsites, and miscellaneous personal expenses are not included in the CAMPLER rental package.
DEFAULT CONDITIONS
The following shall be considered default conditions. Any occurrence of these conditions during the trip may result in immediate suspension of the trip without refund and may lead to legal action:
• Carrying pets, animals, or plants inside the CAMPLER.
• Smoking, consuming narcotics, or using prohibited substances inside the CAMPLER.
• Allowing unauthorized persons inside the CAMPLER.
• Carrying contraband, explosives, weapons, or dangerous items.
• Carrying any items prohibited under Indian laws including the Wildlife Protection Act, Narcotics Act, Customs Law, or any other applicable law.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
The Company reserves the right to add, delete, or amend any terms and conditions without prior notice. Customers are advised to stay updated with the latest terms and conditions.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
• This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any disputes arising out of this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, India.
• In case of disputes, both parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation.
• If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
• Arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator appointed mutually by both parties.
• The place of arbitration shall be Jaipur, India, and the language shall be English.
• The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding on both parties.
